    How it works

    Three steps. No tape measure.

    1. 01

      Scan

Walk slowly along the walls with your iPhone Pro. Apple's RoomPlan finds walls, doors, windows and furniture as you go, and live coaching tells you when to slow down or turn on a light.

    2. 02

      Measure

Every room gets its width, depth, ceiling height and area, with a likely range. Rooms you scan at different times line up into one plan of the whole home.

    3. 03

      Share

A floor plan PDF for a listing, a 3D tour link anyone can open, or DXF and wall elevations for your architect. Or open it all on your computer.

    The floor plan

    Drawn for you, to scale.

Walls, doors, windows, room names and sizes, overall dimensions and a scale bar, laid out like an architect's sheet. This is a real home measured with Home Measure: 6 rooms, 131 m².

    Questions

    Good to know

    Which iPhones can scan?

iPhones with a LiDAR sensor: iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models, on iOS 17 or later. On other iPhones you can add rooms by typing their sizes, and the report works the same way. Training the photoreal model on the iPhone needs iOS 26.

    How accurate is it?

Scanned rooms are usually within 1 to 2 percent, and every report shows a likely range. Rooms typed in by hand show Medium confidence. It is a practical measurement of net internal area, not a legal or land survey.

How long does a scan take?

About a minute per room. Walk slowly along the walls and point at every corner; the app coaches you live. A whole apartment usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.

What do I get after scanning?

A floor plan with every room, its size and area, a PDF report, a 3D model you can walk through and share as a link, and, with full access, DXF files for AutoCAD and SketchUp and elevations of every wall.

Can I see my homes on a computer?

Yes. Sign in at homemeasure.app/app with Apple, Google or an email code. Bring homes over from the iPhone with Settings, Send scan data; automatic sync arrives with the next app update.

    Is it free?

You can scan 5 times for free and see a preview of each plan. To get a home's measurements, buy that home's floor plan once, or choose full access by the week, month or year. The yearly plan starts with 3 days free.

    Where are my scans stored?

On your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded unless you share a tour link or import homes into your web account. There are no ads and no tracking.

    Which languages does it speak?

English, Hebrew, French, Spanish, Arabic, Italian and Thai, in the app and, with full access, in reports.

How do I cancel a subscription?

iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Home Measure, Cancel subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before it renews.
